ETERNITY Systems organizes an Open Day dedicated to employment, recruitment and skills linked to the reuse of packaging
After the success of the 1st edition of the Open Days last May (article to be found here), the world leader in packaging reuse repeated the event on November 30 in its washing center in Lisses (91) with this time a very specific theme: presenting and democratizing industrial professions, as part of the French Fab Industry Week.
For this 2nd edition, candidates and advisors from agencies such asEPIDE, Pôle Emploi, Janus Interim ou Interaction were present to visit our premises.
More than forty people, guided by our New Projects Manager Éléonore BLONDEAU and our HR Manager France Aurélien Daumain were able to discover the processes of collection, transport, repair, washing and storage of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging, as well as the “no CV” recruitment criteria and development opportunities. It was also an opportunity to discover the individual and collective support offered to all our employees.
This Open Day had several objectives:
- Present the plurality of professions present in the company
- Demonstrate that reuse is a source of creation of integration jobs (The Lisses site currently employs more than 10,5% of employees from priority neighborhoods)
- Creating a new collective imagination about “today’s” industry
The feedback from visitors was very positive, mainly highlighting the large quantity of packaging washed and the length of the production lines “which you wouldn’t imagine being so automated”.
