The French expert in the industrial washing of reusable containers and packaging is a signatory of the Regional Charter Zero Plastic Waste in the Mediterranean
Since 2016, the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region has been committed to a strong policy to combat this pollution through its “zero plastic waste in the Mediterranean” as part of its regional climate plan “Une Cop d'avance”. This regional program aims to both protect natural environments and promote plastic recycling. In this context, the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region is proposing a “Zero Plastic Waste” commitment charter, the management of which has been entrusted to the Regional Agency for Biodiversity and the Environment [ARBE] since April 2019. This charter invites many regional stakeholders to commit, including companies established in the region.
ETERNITY Systems is a French expert in the industrial washing of reusable containers and packaging for 25 years, leader in its sector, which today has 16 tailor-made industrial washing centers and 75 washing lines, distributed in 6 countries, to allow the reuse of packaging and containers in all industries: food, cosmetics, detergents, agri-food and other industries, as well as a transport, storage and logistics activity for goods
Present in Cavaillon since 2011 with 78 employees, ETERNITY Systems supports its customers throughout the reuse value chain. Its activity in Cavaillon represents 72 million packages washed per year, which are then reintroduced into the supply chains. As a signatory to the Charter, ETERNITY Systems undertakes to put its industrial know-how at the service of reuse and bulk within the South Region by co-constructing loops adapted to their needs with local players.
For Eleanor Blondeau, New Projects Manager at ETERNITY Systems and Circular Economy Expert : “100 billion disposable packaging are consumed each year in France while industrial resources are now able to wash, treat and reintroduce them into the consumer circuit! Fortunately, the French take the full measure of this nonsense and are more and more numerous to act by consuming in a more responsible way. As a company established in the region and whose activity is centered on reuse and the end of single use, it was essential for ETERNITY Systems to commit alongside the South Region and ARBE as part of the signing of the Zero Waste Regional Charter to actively contribute to the reduction of pollution linked to single use in the environment. »
For Fabrice Valentin, Manager of the Cavaillon site : "It is a source of pride to see our site committing alongside the territory, we are eager to present our tools to put them at the service of local agri-food players, whether for washing, transport and storage of crates or pallets such as this is the case so far or soon for the washing of primary packaging for supermarkets, commercial and collective catering and events”.
