MT SYSTEMS creates a Group brand: ETERNITY SYSTEMS
The French manufacturer endorses its status as the world leader in the industrial washing of reusable packaging

ETERNITY SYSTEMS, which operates in the very strategic sector of reuse for the development of a circular economy, is restructuring its organization to support its growth, be part of a territorial approach and penetrate new sectors of activity
ETERNITY SYSTEMS, becomes the brand of the Group which has existed for more than 25 years, thus being a historic player, until now little known, in terms of industrial washing of transport crates of reusable agri-food products for supermarkets. The Group, whose headquarters is based in Perpignan, brings together more than 1 employees around the world with 200 washing lines in 75 countries spread across Europe and North America, for an annual turnover of more than €6 million. ETERNITY SYSTEMS evolves on the reuse market for the development of a circular economy, estimated at more than 1 billion euros in France according to Ademe.
“We have developed expertise in industrial washing and have at the same time accompanied our offer with a turnkey logistics solution to meet our customers' requirements in terms of quality and traceability. In 2019, we realized that a turning point in our business was taking place, with the development of a circular economy at the heart of which is the reuse of primary, secondary and tertiary containers and packaging. We have therefore opted for a new strategic orientation and have decided to embark on the race in 2020 in order to make available to this new economy our industrial know-how in terms of washing, logistics, traceability and automation. This is why, in this perspective of development and growth, launching a new Group brand takes on its full meaning. » says Gildas Bouilly, CEO of ETERNITY SYSTEMS.
In 2021, the fund Capza Capital enters the capital to finance this diversification, allowing ETERNITY SYSTEMS to accelerate its development on 3 key markets via the structuring of 3 brands for its 3 areas of expertise, which are today:
MT SYSTEMS Industrial Solutions : for washing reusable crates for the food industry (fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, bakery, etc.)
IPS Industrial Packaging Service : for reusable secondary containers and tertiary packaging used in supply chains such as pallets, dollies, boxes, silos, bins, etc. across all industries (e-commerce, automotive, etc.).
CPS Consumer Packaging Service : for primary containers such as bottles, tupperware, pots, jars, gourmet containers or cups, whether these packaging are in glass, PP or stainless steel. With CPS, the Group plans to push innovation further by developing a network of regional micro-factories in order to limit the impact of transport in the LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) of container reuse.
On each of these markets, the company will offer a turnkey offer including: sorting, industrial washing, logistics, storage, traceability and repair.
“Our new organization defines our 3 centers of excellence, which support our professional customers throughout the reuse value chain. It will also allow us to enter new strategic business sectors that will soon have to be transformed to respect the major environmental commitments that have been made in terms of reuse in favor of a sustainable economy, such as cosmetics, detergents, health or the automotive industry for example. According to our forecasts, these new sectors represent a growth potential of +45% for our activity over the next 5 years.” precise Franck andrieux, Chief International Business Developer of ETERNITY SYSTEMS.
To support its growth, ETERNITY SYSTEMS will open its first micro-factory in France in 2022. The capacity should be around 40 containers washed per day, i.e. a target of 000 million containers washed per year. The site will also be a place of R&D and experimentation for the Group in order to continue to innovate and meet the performance and quality expectations required by this activity with high health and safety challenges.
