Paris, December 9, 2022 - The selection evening for the class of 2023 was held for the 2nd consecutive year at the Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac museum in the presence of many inspiring candidates. For the occasion, ETETRNITY Systems was among the finalists, for the first time.
In response to an economic model that is a source of waste and pollution, a model that extends the life cycle of packaging is emerging: the circular economy.
To symbolize this, the final of the 6e edition of the Circular Challenge Citeo took place yesterday. To be included, the competition was tough, more than 450 start-ups and companies submitted their applications. Represented by Eléonore BLONDEAU, ETERNITY Systems had the chance to present for 1m30, the know-how and expertise of the company in terms of washing reusable packaging.
This event went beyond the simple competition stage. In addition to the candidates' interventions, 8 players in the circular economy were gathered around round tables with the aim of "transforming and building circular business models" and "financing the innovations of a circular future".
An appointment symbolizing the transformation of our company towards more open innovation
Despite a speech full of motivation and enthusiasm, ETERNITY Systems was not selected among the 8 winners. We would like to extend our congratulations to Bocoloco and the eight other winners of this prize. We support their development and their contribution to the advancement of the circular economy.
But the main thing was elsewhere, being among the finalists of this Challenge represents for ETERNITY Systems real recognition among the key players in the development of the circular economy. As pointed out Cécile SEMERIVA, Director of Innovation CITEO : “No one loses at CITEO, we always support the entrepreneurs we meet. ".
It is also a driving force in our transformation, to varying degrees (environmental, industrial and digital).
This finalist position reinforces our desire to continue to co-construct the standards and operating processes for reuse loops of reusable packaging on a national scale thanks, in particular, to our involvement in the project CITEO REUSE. As Eléonore BLONDEAU pointed out, “ we are ready and need you to develop reuse on a large scale ».
