What is the Bulk and Reuse Fair?
The Bulk and Reuse Fair is an international trade fair dedicated to packaging reuse solutions, bringing together each year public and private stakeholders involved in the sector or wishing to undertake a reuse approach in their activities.
The Salon du Vrac was born from a very concrete need: to support the development of bulk food and reusable container solutions, in a context where regulations (AGEC law, European directives, Extended Producer Responsibility, etc.) are evolving rapidly. However, the organizers realized that the challenges of reuse went far beyond the food or packaging sector alone, and that consumer expectations in terms of reuse were increasing. This is why, in 2025, this event is changing in scope, name, and dimension.
The Bulk and Reuse Exhibition thus becomes the Reuse Economy Expo, with the ambition of accelerating the structuring of a true reuse economy on a European scale. The goal is also to unite all stakeholders involved in reuse, regardless of their sector of activity, to build a truly circular economy.
This trade fair, which has become a must-attend event, is growing in size every year, with the 2024 edition bringing together more than 2000 French and international professionals and more than 75 different speakers.
The 7th edition of the Bulk and Reuse Fair, and the new Reuse Economy Expo, will be held on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 May 2025 at the Parc Floral de Paris (75012). This year, building on a first experience
With a “Reuse Village” organized in 2024, the show is expanding in size, with the exhibition area increasing from 3 m² in 500 to 2023 m², to meet growing demand and welcome even more exhibitors.
At the same time, the organization of the show has been redesigned around four major sectors of reuse:
– Electrical, electronic equipment and batteries;
– Professional equipment and furniture;
– Packaging, bulk products and traceability;
– Advice, support and tools.
The central theme of this 2025 edition is: “Making reuse profitable on a large scale in Europe.” This theme raises a key question: how can we develop reuse models that are economically, technically and logistically viable, in a context marked by the climate emergency, the scarcity of resources and the need for reindustrialization?
To answer these questions, a central space will be entirely dedicated to conferences, designed to address the major challenges of reuse, both on a national and European scale.
What is the program for the 2025 Bulk and Reuse Show?
The 2025 edition of the Reuse Economy Expo features a program of more than 70 conferences, masterclasses, and workshops spread over two days. The goal is to offer professionals a genuine space for work, reflection, and action to sustainably structure sectors, provide them with tools, and accelerate the deployment of concrete solutions across all sectors.
Open on Monday, May 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 18 p.m. and Tuesday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m., the new Salon du Vrac offers in particular:
– Round tables: 17 planned sessions will be held in the main space, with key themes such as: “The Reuse Economy: an industry of the future, a lever for growth and global leadership for Europe”, “Reuse: a fundamental lever for the economy of our regions”, or “Reuse of packaging: a key lever for an inter-REP circular economy”.
– Masterclasses: Around thirty educational sessions will be offered to allow participants to delve deeper into technical, regulatory, and methodological topics and empower them to take action. Dealing with, for example, washing, the reuse of professional equipment, and adhesive labels, they will be led by recognized industry experts.
– Workshops: Interactive REuse Economy Workshops will allow professionals to discuss real-life situations, share experiences, and work together to develop easy-to-implement solutions. Based on these discussions and feedback, participants will help create a reference document to support the transition to reuse in their sector.
Who will be participating in the Reuse Economy Expo 2025?
The Bulk and Reuse Fair will welcome numerous high-level speakers from both the public and private sectors, and from across the ecosystem, such as:
● Sylvain Waserman, President of ADEME, will speak on the levers for accelerating reuse within the framework of ecological planning.
● Jessika Roswall, European Commissioner for the Environment, will share the European vision and prospects for harmonizing regulations.
● Véronique Louwagie, Minister Delegate for Trade, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, will participate in a round table on the role of public policies in the deployment of reuse sectors.
ETERNITY Systems will also be present at the Parc Floral show alongside Buddie-Pack to affirm their commitment to sustainability and reuse. For our company, the Salon du Vrac is an exceptional platform to showcase our solutions for washing reusable packaging (cups, crates, gastronomic containers, jars, etc.).
The Reuse Learning Expedition
In addition to the exhibition, the Reuse Economy Expo is offering a Learning Expedition (learning expedition in French) scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Paris from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m. This is an immersive field visit aimed at professionals wishing to gain a practical understanding of how packaging reuse sectors work, by observing their implementation in an urban environment.
Organized by the Bulk & Reuse Network and the New ERA Alliance, this event highlights the most advanced French reuse solutions. Participants will visit an industrial washing center, a key step in the reuse cycle. They will also follow the real-life journey of a reusable bottle: from its placement in a returnable bottle recycling machine to its return to circulation in a Parisian restaurant.
For all professionals interested in reuse, this is a unique opportunity to see reuse solutions in action, by meeting directly with those involved in the field and leaving with concrete ideas that can be applied to their own business.
Why participate in the Bulk and Reuse Fair?
Participating in the Reuse Economy Expo means joining a collective dynamic driven by a clear objective: to make reuse a central pillar of tomorrow's economy. Whether you're a company looking for concrete solutions or a stakeholder looking to structure your local sector, this bulk trade fair offers you:
● Privileged access to innovative solutions, already operational and tested in the field,
● The opportunity to meet key players in your sector, in a spirit of cooperation, open innovation and sharing of best practices.

May 13 and 14, 2024, ETERNITY Systems had the honor of participating in the 2024 Refill and Reuse Fair, a flagship event in the sector, which was held at the Parc Floral in Paris. This fair, dedicated to the promotion of sustainable and ecological solutions, brought together professionals and innovators from Europe, sharing a common vision for a more responsible future.
Our presence was carried out alongside the consortium project Buddie-Pack, mainly because of our commitment to this same project. The provision of a common stand made it possible to strengthen our partnership and our mutual commitment to sustainability and reuse.
A showcase for sustainable innovation
The Refill and Reuse Fair offered ETERNITY Systems an exceptional platform to present its packaging washing solutions. We presented the different primary, secondary and tertiary washes (cups, crates, gastronorm containers, jars, etc.).
Inspiring exchanges
During these two days, we had the opportunity to meet professionals passionate about sustainability, to form new partnerships and to strengthen our links with several key players in reuse in France and Europe. The discussions were particularly enriching, allowing us to collect valuable feedback on our solution and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
A path to a more responsible future

This event not only allowed us to present our innovations, but also to reinforce our commitment to sustainability and reuse. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with partners like Buddie-Pack and to actively contribute to the transition towards a circular economy.
Our business development director Franck ANDRIEUX shared the microphone with Alexandre Solacolu (co-founder of Hoali) and Rose-May Lucotte (co-founder of ChangeNOW) during a round table entitled “Reuse, Restoration and Re-Uz, 3Rs that work together", hosted by Arnaud le BERRIGAUD (Re-Uz). On this occasion, Franck presented to the general public the services provided daily by ETERNITY Systems.
He also spoke about his aspirations as a reuse actor. For him, “reuse must be painless for the consumer both figuratively and literally“. He particularly mentioned the importance of food safety during the washing process of gastronorm containers. and all other primary containers in direct contact with food. To meet quality requirements linked to food safety, our sites are equipped with a clean room at the exit of the washing tunnel. A new chapter for reuse in the brewing industry hailed by the Association of Microbrasseries of Quebec.
ETERNITY Systems, a major player in packaging reuse, announces its expansion in Canada with a particular emphasis on microbreweries in Quebec.
Already present since 2017 with 2 sites in Longueuil and Guelph for the MT Systems activity dedicated to secondary and tertiary packaging, such as crates and pallets, for the agri-food industry, the French company ETERNITY Systems takes over from the recently declared bankrupt company “Le maître packaging durable” to now offer glass beer bottle washing services.
ETERNITY Systems, with nearly 30 years of experience in reusing containers, has already acquired machines from the bankrupt company, anticipating an initial volume of around one million bottles per year, with a planned higher capacity.
“We are in contact with the microbreweries. Our goal is to resume existing operations and continue to provide reliable and sustainable services,” explains Marc Antoine Vézina, director of the Longueuil plant for ETERNITY Systems.
The Association of MicroBrasseries of Quebec (AMBQ) welcomes this collaboration.
“This is good news for us, a new collaboration is being established with ETERNITY Systems, a company recognized worldwide for its expertise in reuse,” says Marie-Eve Myrand, the association’s general director.
For microbreweries, this represents a new partner in bottle cleaning, reducing costs associated with the accumulation of empty glass containers and ensuring a more efficient and economical transition. Although the trend towards cans has increased (the number of beers sold in bottles represents around 2% of production), some microbrewers, with the support ofETERNITY Systems, continue to use glass bottles.
Marie-Eve Myrand emphasizes: “Our wish is to secure the washing and supply of returnable washed bottles and with ETERNITY Systems, this is becoming a promising reality.”
THEAssociation des microbrasseries du Québec hopes that the government will perpetuate re-employment offers with companies like ETERNITY Systems, thus underlining the commitment to the environment.

AboutETERNITY Systems : A major player in reuse for nearly 30 years, ETERNITY Systems puts its industrial expertise in collection, transport, repair, washing and storage of reusable packaging at the service of organizations that want to reduce their environmental footprint by reusing containers and packaging of all types (plastic, glass, stainless steel, etc.). The company industrializes reuse to gain productivity, quality, traceability and safety by offering a complete transport, washing and storage offer, in Europe and North America, based on industrial performance, the commitment of its employees and satisfaction. customer.
The consortium has just published its last newsletter of the year. Here is the summary of the points to remember.
Great progress in work modules (WP)
The consortium continues its good momentum regarding the reduction of single-use plastic.
WP2 researchers are actively seeking UK participants to take part in a study exploring opinions on reusable meat packaging in the catering industry.
WP3 focuses on mechanical and optical tests were carried out in order to optimally select the materials suitable for each type of reusable packaging. We learn that efforts will now be focused on analyzing test results in order to obtain the first prototypes of what will be the materials that will make up standard reusable plastic packaging.
A real progression in the progress of WP4 (evaluation of the economy of reusable products) is underlined. In fact, the dedicated group is currently carrying out 2 tasks out of the 4 planned. Among them: the task 4.1, focusing on cost/benefit analysis throughout the reuse cycle to ensure profitability. The objective is to provide valuable information on the financial viability of different cases of reuse and to make a comparison with current packaging formats).
In September 2024, large-scale testing of RPP materials and design, business models, consumer acceptance and safety monitoring will be carried out for the following packaging:
Catering trays in schools and retirement homes.
Catering trays for takeaway meals
Secondary food packaging for meat
Packaging of bulk personal care products in supermarkets
Catering packaging for on-site food consumption in supermarkets
Bag-in-box® for the distribution of antiseptics in hospitals.
Finally, the members of WP7 were also able to make progress on environmental, financial and social analyzes of the life cycle of different cases of packaging. As a reminder, the objectives are to identify hot spots for each use case and to provide guidelines to make reusable packaging more virtuous than single-use packaging. Here is the current status:
Environmental analyzes : 5 out of 6 use cases have been carried out. Comprehensive analyzes were presented in December to reach consensus on design and material choices.
Economic analyzes : collection of data from use case managers and main beneficiaries on machine and labor costs in order to finalize the calculation of direct and indirect costs.
Social analytics : the indicators that will be used in the social analysis have been chosen. A presentation will be shared with partners in January.
ETERNITY Systems in the heart of the “Information from our partners” section.
The first element mentioned is the participation of the company in the context of the use case ofAusolan. Two types of trays designed by Knauf Danoline will be deployed: one with single portion and another with multiple portions. The trays will then be filled in Ausolan's central kitchens and distributed to several schools and retirement homes in Spain. The single-serving trays will be heated in the microwave and the consumer will be able to eat straight from the tray. On the other hand, the multi-portion trays will go in the oven and will then be transferred to plates. Once dirty, ETERNITY Systems will intervene to wash the containers and return them clean to the central kitchens of Ausolan.
This loop will be repeated several times in order to collect data and draw conclusions.
