A decisive step for the reuse sector in Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Blanquefort, September 17, 2025 – The official inauguration of the industrial washing site Re-uz for ETERNITY à Blanquefort, near Bordeaux, marks a major step in the structuring of the sector of reuse of food containers.
Fruit of the joint venture between Re-uz et ETERNITY Systems, this site of 2 500 m² illustrates the rise of a local circular economy serving the collective catering and ecological transition.
An innovative industrial site at the heart of reuse
Le Blanquefort site is entirely dedicated to the washing, storage and logistics of reusable containers : stainless steel gastronorm containers, trays, cups, jars…
Thanks to its latest generation equipment, the site can process several tens of thousands of containers per day while respecting the highest standards of hygiene and traceability.
Designed to support the elimination of single-use packaging, it directly meets the needs of communities, public actors, commercial and event catering wishing to integrate reuse into their daily practices.
An exemplary partnership with La Cuisine Bordeaux Mérignac
The launch of the site is part of a innovative cooperation with Bordeaux Mérignac Cuisine, the first public player to have eliminated single-use trays.
From November 2025, Re-uz for ETERNITY will ensure the daily washing of 25,000 containers, after a phase of gradual ramp-up starting in 2024.
This project benefits from a support from ADEME, up to € 256 532,80, confirming the strategic importance of the washing reusable containers in the ecological transition and the reduction of waste in collective catering.
