The company specializing in the washing of reusable packaging is expanding its business in Spain by joining ES Reutiliza, an alliance of several companies in the sector aiming to transform and accelerate reuse across the Spanish territory.

This alliance, founded during the Zero Waste Festivalof Barcelona, brings together sector players to structure and accelerate the implementation of the packaging reuse in SpainThe initiative was launched to respond to the new European regulations,and to objectives ofEuropean Union waste reduction, while supportingthe transition to a circular economy. Indeed, the reuse of packaging has become a priorityon a European scale in the face of growing environmental challenges and new regulations that push and encourage waste reduction. It is in this context that ES Reutilizawas born. This alliance already has more than ten companieswho have already confirmed their membership, including: Awayter, Capsa Packaging, Cartonplast Ibérica, Corplex Iberia, Logifruit, Retoornado and, of course ETERNITY Systems.

What are the objectives of ES Reutiliza?

and regulatory in Spain, for stakeholders in reuse systems across the whole

ETERNITY Systems is already well established in Spain and plays a major role in the development of packaging reuse. We have two washing sites à picassent et Yunquera, dedicated to the cleaning of reusable crates and pallets. These sites are strategic centers to support the growth of reuse in Spain. We also have sorting centers in Zaragoza and Illescas, specialized in sorting reusable crates. Based in Valencia, we have EMTE,which is a company of transportation, a subsidiary of MT Logistics (ETERNITY Systems). It provides charter services in more than 10 countries, including Spain. With all this, our presence in Spain allows for efficient management of reusable packaging, while respecting strict environmental standards.
